Dave Stehlin
President and CEO

Dave Stehlin has more than two decades of telecommunications industry experience, holding executive level positions at various equipment manufacturing companies since 1990. With top level leadership experience at early-stage as well as established public companies, Dave brings a deep understanding of the strategic and growth issues facing companies in our industry. Dave has been CEO of two venture-backed startups, OnePath Networks and Valo, as well as President of Keptel and Antec Network Transport, divisions of Antec (now Arris Group). Prior to this, he was in sales management positions with Siecor (now Corning Cable Systems), and has been director of sales with Laser Precision (now GN Nettest).

Dave served as an officer in the US Marine Corps following his graduation from the US Naval Academy. Additionally, he earned his MBA from National University.


William C. Szeto
Founder and CTO

Bill Szeto has more than 30 years of experience in the telecommunications industry with both service providers and equipment vendors. This experience has provided him with an intimate knowledge of telecommunications networks, and has allowed Ceterus Networks to develop and deliver products that meet service providers' needs. Prior to joining Ceterus Networks, Bill was Founder, President and CEO of Iris Labs. Before that he was the Chief Technology Officer for Monterey Networks, which was acquired by Cisco Systems.

Bill is a 28-year veteran of Sprint where his management responsibilities included setting Sprint’s optical networking direction. He was instrumental in the development and implementation of Sprint’s DWDM network.

Bill was previously a member of the Board of Directors for the Optical Internetworking Forum. Bill holds a BSEE and an MBA from Ohio State University.


Patrick Gooden
Vice President of Operations

Patrick Gooden brings more than 30 years of experience in operations and engineering management to Ceterus Networks. He is responsible for planning, supply chain & manufacturing management, quality assurance, and order fulfillment activities. Previously Patrick was VP of Operations and Engineering at Intrusion Inc (formerly ODS Networks), where he was responsible for all product development, product manufacturing, supply chain, order fulfillment, and customer technical support; there he was also a founder and Vice Chairman for a JV in Shanghai, PRC.

Prior to Intrusion, Patrick served in a number senior management roles with Thomas Group, Inc. (a public management consulting company) including Corporate VP and Senior VP in Europe and the US. Patrick began his career at Texas Instruments in a variety of operational management assignments, including program management, manufacturing, logistics, materials management and implementation of world-class supply chain and manufacturing practices.

Patrick holds an MBA from Southern Methodist University and a BA degree in Business Administration and Economics from Austin College.


Jeffrey A. Havlock
Chief Financial Officer

Jeffrey Havlock oversees financial operations for Ceterus. A certified public accountant with more than two decades of manufacturing experience, Havlock comes to the company from Keys Fitness Products where he also served as CFO, managing annual revenues of more than $100 million. Havlock is a former CFO of the telecom firm Navini Networks, and M&S Systems, a manufacturer of high-end home accessories. Havlock also has been a controller and financial analyst with companies such as Grumman Olson Industries and Northrop Grumman. Havlock began his career in public accounting. He earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Akron, and an MBA from The University of Chicago.


Mark A. McDonald
Vice President of Product Management

Mark McDonald is responsible for product management, marketing and customer support. Most recently, McDonald was vice president and general manager of the wireline product group for ADC Telecommunications Corporation, where he previously served as vice president of marketing and product management for the wireless and wireline systems division. McDonald also held a number vice president-level positions for Marconi Communications (formerly Reltec Corporation), including product marketing and business development. McDonald previously was marketing director for DSC Communications, where he managed the Americas’ wireless local loop division. He also served as director of systems engineering for DSC. Earlier in his career, McDonald worked as director of product development for Rockwell International and Alcatel. He holds a master’s degree in electrical engineering from Cornell University and a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Oklahoma State University.


Gordon Ngo
Vice President of Development

Gordon Ngo brings more than 20 years of telecom equipment design, embedded development and project management experience to Ceterus Networks. He leads the Ceterus engineering team and is responsible for the overall architecture, product development and testing. Prior to joining Ceterus, Gordon was responsible for the design of a next generation metro Ethernet/DWDM transport product for Metera Networks.

Prior to Metera Networks, Gordon held increasing technical and management positions at Fujitsu Network Communication, Samsung Telecommunications, and GE/Lockheed Martin.. He helped Samsung launch and deployed their carrier class ATM switching system into the US equipment market.

Gordon holds two US patents in the area of ATM switching and Power management. He holds an MSEE and BSEE degrees from Polytechnic University of New York.
